The Mountain Range

The terrain, complex simple or plain
Can easily drive any human being insane
Not knowin what to encounter as you walk it's path
More analyzing than math as you avoid the wrath
There's grass before the foothills which provide a thrill
Through the types of climates wit sun beams & much chill
The steps to reach the top can be too strenuous
However you must trek that trail continuous
Cuz when you get to going and the going gets rough
Reversin course is the same if you ain't mentally tough
All the stuff that you passed you will meet again,
And if it was life threatenin, then guess what friend?
This time you may not win, left dead in the cold
From lost confidence though you appeared to be bold
No life to unfold, then a feeling of scold
While someone else could take your place, and strike gold
From not doing whats told to reach potential
The ability to persevere is so essential
How you gon reach your peak if you ain't make it yet
To that mountain in your life stoppin at ready, set
No go, no advance when we all have a chance
No matter your origin or unique circumstance
Some are provided shortcuts to shorten the trip
And they can tumble on down with the slightest slip
Not knowin what lies beneath due to skippin steps
While the seasoned trooper has those eyes that never slept
Yeah, maybe they wept not carin bout a rep like
Those macho bavado types scared to take hikes
So keep movin up like Weasie & George Jeff
Climbin in elevation lookin down at such depths
New part of the mountain means a new level
You begin to breath clearer wit more heat from the devil
New challenges to face like buffaloes & falling rocks
Can't forget the avalanches buildin from up top
Non-Stop when it comes to the issues we gon face
Refine your defense, claim and fight for your space
Anytime any place on the region you walk on
Let your actions do the speakin while others just talk on
People may stalk on by for positive change
As they see that light in you, it may feel strange
You're just about to reach the top of the mountain range.
